Ain't nothin' but mongrels swarming all over today, seems like. And every one's got a bottle or worse. Can't wait 'till they stop drinkin' from it and start hittin' each other with 'em, won't that be a laugh.

Old man wants to find more help, heh, swords for the road 'r whatever. Jumpier than he's ever been, these days. Keep tellin' him we ain't makin' money to pay 'em on the road, and he just shrugs like it doesn't matter any. Right.

Hope the damn fireworks are worth all the noise. Not that I'll be sober enough t' care, much longer~
